Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Christina Kent Early Childhood Center, a 501 C 3 organization and Albuquerque’s oldest childcare center, is seeking volunteers for its Board of Directors. Skills/experience in construction, fund development, real estate, facility management, human resources, finance, or technology are particularly useful. Prior experience on a Board is helpful. Board members engage in planning, plan execution, and governance of this 100 year-old organization. This is a working board; each director serves on a committee which best fits the individual’s interests and skills. Board members generally are asked to participate in fundraising activities and events.
