Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

We are looking for passionate volunteers like you to help us combat social isolation and meet the need for senior transportation in Santa Fe.

Our Volunteer Drivers will partner with us to provide medical and non-medical rides for ambulatory seniors 60+ years of age who are in financial need and have no other option for transportation. We ask that our volunteers follow all safety protocol during the time of the COVID-19 crisis, which will be explained in more detail during training. This opportunity is volunteer directed and will grant you the ability to set your own schedule with 2-4 hour shifts at any point throughout the week.

Please help us to serve and respond to the needs of our senior community by helping them to maintain independence and engagement within their community through your loving support and the generous gift of your time!

Your volunteer services will impact members of our local senior community that are in financial need and unable to drive, local medical service providers, and senior community centers. Through the rides offered you will not only help the seniors maintain independence and get to essential appointments, but will also help to combat the serious issue of social isolation through your companionship.
