Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

If you’re interested in science… and have a knack for planning hands-on activities to inspire students … volunteer at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History.
We are seeking an energetic individual to assist in our education department with generating ideas for activities, prototyping materials, and drafting lesson plans. You’ll enjoy working in this volunteer position if you have a creative curiosity for science and understand how to demonstrate concepts through hands-on activities.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

You will also interact with our Junior Docents and Education Docents and coach them to present hands-on activities to a variety of audience. This may include researching presentation methods and practices, and developing a workshop for the Docents.
