Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

For too many children, challenges outside the classroom can stand in the way of success inside the classroom. Communities in Schools of NM works inside schools to connect kids with caring adults and community resources designed to help them succeed. With so many Santa Fe families facing food insecurity, CISNM partners with the Food Depot to provide weekly groceries to families in need. We need your help with picking up the food, packing the grocery bags and handing out the bags to students and families in the 10 Santa Fe Public Schools we serve.

Up to 6,000 students and their families in the 10 SFPS schools we serve.

On site support at the school to which you are assigned.

Additional Requirements: 

CISNM and Santa Fe Public Schools require that all volunteers must pass a background check.
