Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Help the Aux Dog Theatre Nob Hill by acting as an assistant to the Theatre Producer throughout the production phases of ABQ Solo - the 5th Annual Festival of SOLO Performers. Volunteers would interact and support the artists involved with the festival during rehearsals and over the 4 weekends it runs in January.
This year's festival includes the World Premiere of Mark Dunn's immersive one-woman play, 'Diptych', a creative collaboration with Susan Roden and her paintings, featuring Kathi Collins in the X Space (Jan 4 - 26). Jeffrey Hatcher's 'Three Viewing' directed by Jessica Osbourne and performed by Rachel Wiseman (Jan 11-13). 'The Divas in Danger', dynamic solo performances by Debra Ehrhardt, Brenda Adelman and Mariana Williams (Jan 18 - 20 for 4 shows) returning by popular demand. With more artists to be announced.

The Aux Dog Theatre's ABQ Solo Festival provides ABQ Artists a platform to develop their SOLO shows and launch their work to stages in New York City and LA. The Aux Dog's intimate environment is the perfect setting for adventurous the theatrical programming the Festival offers.

2 Comp tickets per solo show. Students can also earn class credits by volunteering at the Aux Dog Theatre.
