Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

If you are ready to made a big impact that will last years into the future with minimal effort we have the volunteer opportunity for you! The American Red Cross will be installing 500-1,000 smoke alarms throughout New Mexico & we need your help.

This is a great volunteer opportunity to sign up for if:
*You are between the ages of 12-130
* You are part of fraternity, sorority, organization or business seeking a team building exercise for your group
*You have a desire to do an easy volunteer project
*You have ever had a family member or friend experience a house fire
*You are a employee of a big company that encourages you to volunteer

So, what would YOU do exactly? We would have you be on a team of 3-4 people doing one of three major things:
1) Installing Alarms, 2) Educating families on alarms 3) Documenting all the paperwork

As part of our massive Smoke alarm install event we will be going into the homes of people that are in need of a smoke alarm .
