Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Volunteer with Meals on Wheels!
Meals on Wheels of Albuquerque is looking for volunteers to help in a variety of different areas such as:
• Driving
• Kitchen
• Office
• Coordinator
Come spend a few hours with us, once a week, and make a difference for those in need!
Orientations take place every Wednesday from 3:00 pm – 4:15 pm at 5901 Harper Dr. If you cannot make a previously scheduled orientation, please let us know and we can schedule a one-on-one orientation for you.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

Meals on Wheels of Albuquerque is the only home delivered meal program in our area preparing special diets. Through grants, donations, and the support of the community, we started the Low Income Food & Enrichment Program (L.I.F.E.). This program is for those meeting the federal government’s defined poverty level and who require a special diet due to health issues.
