Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

SAFE House, a local non-profit domestic violence shelter, is seeking new board members to join us in strategic planning, goal-setting and fundraising endeavors, all to support the mission of the shelter. We presently have 8 board members but would like to expand to 15. We could sure use your help!

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 
Our efforts are in support of the domestic violence victims and their children, who find safety at our shelter: women, children, and even men need the services SAFE House offers.
Additional Requirements: 
Meetings every other month to discuss financials, reporting, and other oversight type functions. On alternating months, the board meets as a committee of the whole to work on strategic planning, fundraising, and annual campaign.
