Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

The secretary of the board will be responsible for maintaining records of the board and ensuring effective management of the organization's records; creating agendas and managing minutes of the board; and becoming familiar with the organization's legal documents.
We are looking for a committed Board Member to serve on our organization’s governing body. The Board Member is committed to the long-term interest of NMWRC and meets regularly to oversee and direct business operations, set policies, approve business decisions, and evaluate executive performances. Previous board experience is an asset but not required. An outstanding board member will be passionately committed to the organization's mission.
