Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

The Events Coordinator provides logistical support for chapter workshops including location, refreshments, technology, registration, introductions, and evaluation forms. This planning and organizing work may be done primarily from home. In addition, the Events Coordinator (or an approved alternate) must attend all workshops (approximately 11 per year) This position requires an average of 5-6 hours per month from January-November. Periodic planning meetings with the Workshop Chair or other chapter members may be required. This position reports to the Workshop Chair. Other related duties may be assigned. At this time, all workshops take place on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday during normal business hours. Occasional evening workshops may be considered in the future. All events are held in Albuquerque.

Additional Requirements: 

Ideal candidate must be super organized, absolutely dependable, self-directed, a quick learner, and smile a lot. You will be the face of the organization at the workshop. Dress code is business casual when attending workshops. In addition, you are responsible for getting yourself to and from workshops and meetings.
