Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

***Volunteer activity is still on hold due to restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic, but we will update when this changes. Recruitment is ongoing as we would love to have new volunteers ready to go when we are!***

We are accepting applications for Volunteers to serve in our Ronald McDonald Family Room located inside Presbyterian Hospital. Volunteers work in the Family Room greeting families, stocking food, assisting with Sleep Room check-in and check-out, maintaining the computer and laundry room sign in sheets and helping the families with anything they may need. The Family Room is open 7 days a week from 9-8pm IF we have Volunteer Coverage. Volunteers cover 2 or 3 hour shifts. Shifts are as follows: 9-12 pm, 12-3 pm, 3-6 pm, 6-8 pm.

You will need to attend the RMHC Orientation AND the Hospital Orientation before starting. We ask for a minimum 6 month commitment to serving in the Family Room. Volunteers must be 18 or older at the time of application.
