Community-Engagement Governance

Register one person at $50 and bring a second person from the same organization for free.

Community-Engagement Governance makes a direct link between desired community impact and the primary purpose of governance.  At this training, you and your team will develop skills to be more responsive and accountable to the community you serve.

Community-Engagement Governance is based on:
- Participatory democracy
- Self-determination
- Genuine partnership
- Community-level decision making

Moving away from corporate and top-down governance models, it spreads responsibility for governance across an organization's constituents, community, staff and board.

The framework helps organizations and networks become more:
- Responsive to constituent and community needs
- Adaptive to the changing environment

Hands on small group work will be integrated into the training so you will leave with new knowledge, skills and tools to begin working with the Community-Engagement Governance model.
