Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
Basic Literacy Tutor -- tutor an adult who is learning to read and write or who is preparing to take the GED exam. Highly rewarding. 6 month commitment required. You will be trained to learn how to tutor adults. You will meet with your student 2 hours a week. Time commitment for tutoring, preparation & paperwork: 16 hours a month.

Adults; low-income; women.

training; materials and supplies; lots of support
Additional Requirements:
Attend two days of training: April 6 and April 13, 2013. Lunch provided at training.
